Centerville-Kenneth Robert Ries, 79, passed away early Wednesday morning at Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Unit. Kenneth will be inurned next to his beloved wife, MaryAnn Peplinski Ries, with a private family ceremony on Friday in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Kenneth was born on May 17, 1937 to the late Kenneth C. and Thyllis Smith Ries in Milwaukee, WI. Kenneth retired from Burley Construction Company as their construction superintendant. He was a very hard working man who could fix anything. He was the former President of his Homeowners Association and his Remote Control Flying Club. Kenneth loved investing and playing the stock market and became quite successful. In addition to his parents and wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Ethel Ries. Kenneth is survived by his beloved daughter, Amy Russell (Randy), Centerville; brother, Jerry Ries (Jinny).
