Obituary for Aaron Phillippe "AJ" Johnson

Print
Macon- Aaron “AJ” Johnson, 42, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, July 9, 2017. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. A service celebrating A.J.’s life will be private with family and friends. The family accepts flowers but asks for donations to be made to the family to help with his daughter, Shyanne’s college tuition.
A.J. was born on December 2, 1974 in Fort Valley, GA. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at First Quality Baby Products in Macon. In his spare time, A.J. was an adrenalin junky. He always believed in riding fast and playing hard. If he was hurt, he would just rub a little dirt on it. He loved tattoos, guns, skulls and pirates. He even considered having his leg amputated so he could get a peg leg. When the day was done he would finish it off with Crown Royal and a splash of Coca Cola.
A.J. leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters: Shyanne Johnson, Thomaston, GA and Sidney Asbell, Milner, GA; granddaughter: Alora Peacock; mother: Susan Dixon Willis, Milledgeville; sister: Stefani Johnson, Milledgeville; brothers: Brent Johnson of Columbus, Galen Johnson of Elberton and Kelby Johnson of California.
