Obituary for Alexander Hans Comportie
WARNER ROBINS, GA- Alexander Hans Comportie, 61, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Houston Medical Center. A memorial mass with full military honors will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. Father Fred Nijem and Deacon Jim Hunt will officiate. Inurnment will follow at 1:00 pm at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Alex was born on January 15, 1959 in Germany. He faithfully and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he retired at the rank of Master Sergeant. He was currently employed at Robins Air Force Base in Civil Service as a contracting officer with over 10 years of service, where he exhibited unparalleled dedication in support of mission needs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ivette Irina (Sanson) Comportie and two daughters, Alexandra, and Sophia Comportie.
