Warner Robins, GA – Alva “Jeannie” (Denzine) Hawkins, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services.
Jeannie was born on May 2, 1946, in Minneapolis, MN to the late Clifford and Deloris (Tiegs) Denzine. In her spare time, Jeannie enjoyed traveling, doing yard work, reading, and embroidering. She was a long-time member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Besides her Lord, her greatest love and joy was her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her dear grandson, Josh Hawkins.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Dale Duane Hawkins of Warner Robins, GA; son: Michael Dale Hawkins (Vicki) of Vancouver, WA; daughter: Tanya Jean Thompson of Byron, GA; grandchildren: Chaneka Hawkins, Andre Hawkins, Brenda Hawkins, Angleen Hudlin, and Gabreal Huff; and 13 beautiful great-grandchildren.
