Obituary for Andress Rieckert (Owens)

We meet almost 34 years to the date we would have been married 33 years on July 11.
The first time I saw her not knowing who she was at that time I told my friends that is the one I’m joining to marry.
It happened on a day in June 1985 I was working part time at dominos pizza in satellite Beach fl
She pulled in and came running into the store yelling that there was a man chasing her as she was driving her husband at that time just stood there so I was going out to confront this person and my manager told me that I could not go out there in my uniform so I took it off and then confronted him as he drove off that is what started it all I wasn’t trying to take her away from her first husband didn’t even know they were married I had to go to Illinois for my brothers wedding in July when I returned we were together from that day forward I told her t3 days later that she will marry me it took almost a year she had to fly out to California to get her x to sign her divorce papers
We were married on July 11 1986 she changed my life completely she help form me into the person I am today she brought in to my life my 2 oldest daughters Virginia and Sara Michelle who in my life were mine never thought of them as my step daughters on July 10 1991 she gave birth to our son William who I delivered myself at home ( boy did she trust me lol I sat there just before his birth reading the book she gave me months back ) but all went well as I delivered him the cord was wrapped around his neck so I loosened it with 2 fingers in one hand and with the other I rotated his shoulders and pulled him out
On 1 28 1994 she lost her sister who had a son of 18 months by May of that year we had a son Joseph through adoption her sisters last wish
And then there was Kathryn she was born 6-6-2001 and Andi was right there we brought her home to our house in Byron Virginia and her husband were living with us at that time she always treated her like our daughter well as time went on we adopted her at the age of five and she was our life we lost her in 7/7/2018 and my Andi was never the same her heart was broken and I had no way to mend it we talked everyday I would call hers on my breaks and lunch we were there for each other every day the holidays were the hardest she was so worried about this Mother’s Day and Father’s Day not knowing how she would handle it
On April 30 th at 1228 she went home to god house she die with me holding and hugging her surrounded by her children with the knowledge of my love for her
I pray that she is with Kathryn and they are happy
I miss her so very much my life will never be the same

I love you Andi
Always and forever
