Obituary for Anita Marie Ausherman (Tydings)

Centerville, GA – Anita Marie (Tydings) Ausherman, 72, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her bedside. The viewings will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm and on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A private burial service will be held for family only.
Anita was born on February 22, 1949, in Baltimore, MD to the late Lloyd and Helen (Foxwell) Tydings. She worked at various school systems throughout the years, primarily having worked with special needs children. Her final position was substitute teaching with the Houston County Board of Education. Anita loved playing golf, traveling with her family, especially to Savannah, to see her granddaughter. She and Lou went on multiple cruises each year, and she loved eating seafood, specifically blue crabs, and crab legs. Anita was an animal lover. She had two special pets, her dog, and her goat. She was raised Catholic and most recently began reading the bible and praying daily. In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her brother, Basil Tydings.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Maynard Lewis Ausherman, Jr. of Centerville, GA; daughter: Sherri Marie Willard of Warner Robins, GA; son: Torrey Lee Willard of Warner Robins, GA; step-daughters: Michelle Kregeloh of Fairview Heights, IL and Melissa Ausherman of Warner Robins, GA; step-son: Michael Ausherman of Warner Robins, GA; granddaughter: Cheyenne Willard of Savannah, GA; grandsons: Nicholas, Christopher, Joshua, and Benjamin Kregeloh; sister: Mary Ellen Barrett (John) of Baltimore, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.
