Obituary for Annette Elaine Swartz (Swartz)
Annette Elaine Swartz, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23, 2021, at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL. Services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the services, beginning at 1:00 pm at Burpee-Scott. Reverend Terry Hedden will be officiating the services.
Annette was born in Shelby, OH on June 29, 1956, to Doris (Miller) Swartz and the late James Robert Swartz. She attended Northside High School, where she was a standout basketball player, and was a 1974 graduate of the Westfield School in Perry, GA. Annette was retired from Robins Air Force Base, after 35 years. She retired as a Logistics Analyst. She was currently working as a Defense Contractor at Eglin Air Force Base. Annette was strong in her faith and believed in the power of prayer. She was an avid runner and cyclist. Annette loved her family and her beloved cat, Brandy, and will be greatly missed. In addition to her father, Annette was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Neal Swartz, and her sister, Jennifer Peppers.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved mother, Doris Swartz of Warner Robins, GA; brother: Sid Swartz (Patricia) of Warner Robins, GA; sister: Pam Wingate (Larry) of Gulf Breeze, FL; nieces: Becky Butler, Sandy Johnson, and Angie Grigsby; nephews: Scott Swartz, William Tritt, and Robby Peppers; 12 great nieces and nephews.
