Obituary for Anthony "Tony" Tyrone Camacho
Perry, GA – Anthony “Tony” Tyrone Camacho, 65, passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2023, after a lengthy battle with COPD.
Tony was born on January 2, 1958, in Warner Robins, GA to the late John and Barbara Jean (Kitchens) Camacho. He lived most of his life in Alaska, Hawaii, and Arizona, before recently coming back home to Middle Georgia to be with family. He worked various jobs throughout his career, he worked as a Supervisor with Trainer Mental Health Center, and at Marc Center Behavioral Health, and with Continental Airlines before his health began to decline.
He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He loved to collect vintage lighters, and watching his cousins in local community theater shows.
He is survived by his brother, Charlie Camacho; niece: Leahi (Ryan) Owens; cousins: Maria (John) Grant and their family that took care of him till end, and many other family members and friends.
