Obituary for Barbara Joann Bertram (Hoff)
Warner Robins, GA – Barbara Joann (Hoff) Bertram, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Unit in Perry, GA. Services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 10:30 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The visitation for family and friends will be held thirty minutes prior to the services.
Barbara was born on September 3, 1931, in Henry County, IN to the late Ralph and Lela (Bennett) Hoff. She was a longtime and faithful member of Westside Baptist Church in Warner Robins. Barbara was a member of the Elks Lodge Women’s Auxiliary, and the Officer’s Wives Club. She enjoyed reading her romance novels, working puzzle games, flower gardening, and traveling, whether it was on a cruise or in their motorhome. She enjoyed all these things, but her greatest joy was her family. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lt. Col. George Oliver Bertram; her son, Kenneth Bertram, and her daughter-in-law, Barbara (Clements) Bertram.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steve Bertram of Centerville, and Chuck Bertram (Judy) of Roberta; daughter-in-law: Suzie Bertram of Warner Robins; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters: Doris Jean Orbaugh, Mary Dupke, and Terry Williams.
