Obituary for Barbara Ann McDonald (Lee)
Warner Robins, GA – Barbara Ann (Lee) McDonald, 76, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Unit in Perry, GA. A service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Andersonville National Cemetery with Pastor Todd Shearin officiating. Barbara was born on July 20, 1944 in Hoboken, GA to the late Adam and Maysie (Craven) Lee. She owned and operated a Florist for many years in Reynolds, GA until she retired. Barbara also worked as a substitute teacher. She was a very classy lady, who always dressed nice and enjoyed shopping for the latest fashion. Barbara enjoyed working in her flower garden and canning. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts, but her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hugh McDonald and her brother, Wesley Lee.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Lynn Miller (J.O.), Lisa McDonald (Gene) and Wanda Hudgins; son: Jonathan McDonald (Shannon); grandchildren: Kasey Osborn, Brittany Miller, Aaron McDonald, Hannah McDonald, and AddiLynn McDonald; sisters: Alice French (Curtis) and Debra Gibson; brothers: Gaines Lee (Shirlon), Johnny Lee (Wanda) and Franklin Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
