Perry, GA – Barry Arthur King, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home. Services celebrating his life will be Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
Barry was born on June 29, 1949, in Adams, Massachusetts to the late Bernard Oliver and Eleanor (Cann) King. Barry proudly and faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force, and later retired as Senior Master Sergeant. He enjoyed playing golf and wood working.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Linda “Kay” King; his children: Brady James McKay, Barry Arthur King II (Karin), and Benjamin Bernard King (Harley); step-children: Jeffrey Stone, Michelle Popler, Justin Wheeler, Samantha Dunston, and Douglas Wilhelmus; grandchildren: Jessie McKay, Barrett C. King, Bradyn T. King, Athena M. King, Justin B. King, Kaylin Marie King, Nola, Adler, Jack, Amelia, Ethan, Connor, Austin, Brody, Charlotte, Gunnar, and Jocelyn; brothers: Bernard Oliver King, II and Bruce Harold King.
