Obituary for Bobby K. "Bob" Hunt
Kathleen, GA – Bobby “Bob” K. Hunt, 86, passed away at Houston Healthcare on Monday, April 17, 2023. Services celebrating his life will be Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:00 am at The Phoenix at Lake Joy. Reverend Jay Lauritsen will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; 53 Perimeter Center E Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30346.
Bob was born on August 20, 1936, in Daniels, West Virginia to the late Roy Kenny Hunt and the late Dolly (WeayBright) Hunt. Bob dedicated his life to serving our country and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1954. He served in many positions over his 23 years of service before retiring as a Master Sargent in 1977. In his free time, Bob enjoyed being a part of the VFW Post 309, golfing, bowling, fishing, and traveling in his RV with Gloria. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his beloved life-partner of 28 years, Gloria Loreman.
Left to cherish his memory is his son and daughter-in-law: Bobby L. and Suzanne Hunt, his grandchildren Rebecca Marino and Austin Hunt; along with Gloria’s children, Lynn and Rob Clark, Spike and Shannon Loreman, and Thom and Betty Loreman, and Gloria’s 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren that he loved as his own.
