Obituary for Brenda Neil Lamb (Shierling)
Perry, GA – Brenda Neil (Shierling) Lamb, 75, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at her residence. There will be a service celebrating her life on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 2:00pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services.
Brenda was born on June 26, 1947, in Atlanta, GA to the late Eugene and Frances (Dix) Shierling. She worked as a mechanic for Blue Bird for many years until she retired. Brenda faithfully attended County Line Baptist Church in Elko, GA and loved her Lord and Savior. In her free time, Brenda enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. She was a very strong, hardworking, and loving woman and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Along with her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Edward Lamb, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved children, daughters: Tanze Delane Bates (Bennie) of Warner Robins, GA, and Mandy Ray Everett (Gordon) of Laurel, MS; son: Raymond Lamb, Jr. (Michelle) of Elko, GA; 8 grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jessica, Jake, Brad, Becky, Francy, Andrew, and Tabitha; sisters: Carolyn Woods (Wayne) of Newnan, GA and Lisa Bishop (Jerry) of Sharpsburg, GA; and 19 great- grandchildren.
