Billy was born on May 23, 1962 in Greensboro, NC to Carlisle B. Harris, Sr. and Lottie May (Weatherford) Harris both Warner Robins, GA. He worked most of his life in the food service industry, primarily at Morrison’s Cafeteria. Billy loved his coffee, rocking in his chair on the front porch and smoking a cigarette. He could often be found at the Waffle House on Watson Blvd. drinking coffee and spending time with his buddy, Stan Brazzil. Billy was a very generous and kindhearted person, who would give you the very shirt off his back. He never met a stranger. He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Green Acres Baptist Church, where he enjoyed greeting everyone in there Sunday school classes. Billy enjoyed traveling, watching classic television series, such as Andy Griffith and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Billy is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Dykes (Tony) of Warner Robins and Kathy Cook (Lonnie) of Lizella; nieces and nephews: Dusty Dykes (Jenny), Clay Dykes (Jennifer), Jacob Zammit, Joshua Zammit and Cheyenne Zammit; great nieces and nephew: Layla, Easton and Saylor.
