Perry, GA – Carol (Click) Williams, 73, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family and closest friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association, www.pwsa.org, or to the American Cancer Society.
Carol was born on September 25, 1948, in Parris Island, SC to the late Emerald M. Click and Anne Rasmussen. She dedicated her life to serving, giving of herself, and encouraging others. Carol worked as a Registered Nurse for many years until she retired from Perry Hospital. She enjoyed telling stories, traveling, especially to her home in the North Georgia Mountains, and helping others. Carol was incredibly caring and giving, and she never met a stranger. She was known as mom and auntie Carol to many and was a loving Grammie! She loved her fur babies, who already miss her immensely. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Emerald M. Click and stepmother, Betty; her mother, Anne Rasmussen and stepfather, Fred Rasmussen; sister-in-law: Jamie Aldridge, and nephew, Justin Conroy.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jerry Boyd Williams, Jr. of Perry, GA; son: Colin Jones (Karyn) of Jefferson, GA; grandchildren: Payton, Audrey, and Sarah: brother: Dave Willis (Wendy) of Evans, GA; sister: Ashley Click (Mark) of Ithaca, NY; step-sister: Nita Merritt (Jerald) of Evans, GA; step-sister: Claudia Alexander of Appling, GA; sister and brothers-in-law: Jana, Paul Richardson of Fayetteville, TN, Karen Conroy (John) of Lafayette, TN; and Chris Aldridge of Elora, TN; nieces and nephews: Meghan, Garrett, Joe, Michael, Savannah, Aden, Allie, Jax, Meara, Ellis, Tessa, and John John; great nieces and nephews: Briley, Taryn, and Ciara; loving friend and surrogate daughter: Melissa Whitley (Scott).
