Obituary for Carolyn Luciano (Childers)
Byron, GA – Carolyn (Childers) Luciano, 77, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her residence. The services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the services. Carolyn was born on December 4, 1941 in Ellicott City, Maryland to the late Granville and Ada Pauline (Fisher) Childers. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who always put her family first. Carolyn had a very caring and generous heart for people and was blessed by serving others as a caregiver. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 36 years, Robert Raymond Luciano.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Phillip Michael Luciano (Doreen) of Warner Robins, Sherri Wheeler (Nathan) of Concord, NC and Susan Combs (Bryan) of Byron; 5 grandchildren: Patrick Wheeler (Jennifer), John Mark Wheeler (Caitlyn), Hannah Wheeler, Robert Luciano (Elizabeth) and Joey Madrigal (Heather); 5 great-grandchildren: Roman, Adeline, Cameron, Brooke and Alissa; brother: Leo Childers and her sisters, Nancy Franks and Brenda Doetzer.
