Perry, GA- Charles Stielper, 76, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Unit in Perry, Georgia. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A memorial service to celebrate his life will follow at 1:00 pm. The family requests that all dress in casual attire to the services.
Charles was born on September 20, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Henry Xavier Sr. and Frances (Meade) Stielper. He was retired from the United States Military, where he served honorably for twenty-three years in the Air Force. Charles enjoyed spending his time rock hunting, bird watching, raising cats, studying history and watching Fox news. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother and sister, Henry Xavier (Bud) Stielper Jr. and Carolyn Hyatt.
Left to cherish his beloved memory is his loving wife, Jamie Stielper; his daughters: Catherine E. Stielper-Gilbert (Derek) and Cristina Howlett (Donnie); grandchildren, Derric Dumont, Jessica Dumont, Derek Gilbert II, Jacquline Aldridge (Alex) and Donnie Howlett II; brothers and sisters, Frances Gallegos and Dennis Stielper and many nieces and nephews.
