Obituary for Charles Edward Woodard
Warner Robins, GA – Charles Edward Woodard, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Edward was born on April 22, 1937 in Dublin, GA to the late Woodrow Wilson Woodard and Lois (Thomas) Bobo. He was a retired civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base. Edward loved gardening, woodworking and fixing anything with an engine. He was a very skilled handyman. His greatest pleasure came from his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Patricia (Clance) Woodard of Warner Robins; daughters: Lisa Borders (Eddie) of Perry and Dana Player (Bo) of Warner Robins; 5 grandchildren: Christopher Borders (Haley), Andrew Borders (Jennie), Kristina Meadows (Chris), Kaitlyn Borders and Joshua Player (Kaylyne); 7 great-grandchildren: Emily and Lyndsay Meadows, Starla, David, Pearl, Cora Borders and Aidan Player; sister: Carolyn McDade of Eatonton; brother: J.B. Woodard of Clinton, TN and his fur baby, Bella.
