Perry, GA - David Lamar Dennard of Perry, Georgia passed away in peace Monday, August 30, 2021, at the age of 69. The family will host visitation on Thursday, September 2nd from 5-7 pm at Burpee Scott Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Perry on Friday, September 3rd at 11 am.

David was born in Vienna, Georgia to the late B.E. Dennard, Sr. (Ruth) and Annette Smith of Pinehurst, Georgia. He was a life-long resident of Perry and worked in the food service industry for over 20 years before retiring in 2001. He was a graduate of Perry High School and was a member of the Georgia National Guard after high school.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Bebe Dennard, his father B.E. Dennard Sr., mother Annette Smith, mother Ruth Dennard and brother Rodney Lockerman, Sr. Left to cherish the memories of David are his children Amy Batson (Chris), Jason Dennard (Michelle), and his grandchildren, Tyler Hubbard (Breanna), Dustin Blocker, Kaylee Blocker, and Evan Dennard, and great grandchildren Camber and Wade Hubbard; and his brothers Benny Dennard, Harry Dennard, and Keith Lockerman. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research.
