Warner Robins, GA - Diane Marie (Fanguy) Lanier, 75, entered the arms of her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Dr. Paul Cowles and Dr. Mike Parker will officiate. Diane was born on October 14, 1946, in Houma, LA to the late Leon Joseph and Alma (Theriot) Fanguy. She married Charles Gordon Lanier in 1966. Diane graduated with her Associates Degree and worked as an Equipment Specialist at Robins Air Force Base until her retirement. Diane enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Orchid Club. She loved horseback riding at a young age and crocheting, in fact, she crocheted items for the Newborn unit at the hospital. She taught grammar school for a short period, loved people and never met a stranger! Diane worked with dog rescue and the therapy dogs at the hospital. Of all these things, Diane loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Diane was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 56 years, Charles Gordon Lanier, Warner Robins, GA; her adoring children: Beth Lanier Kubia (John) Hanceville, AL; Chuck Lanier, Byron, Ga; and her 3 grandchildren: Mark, T.J., and Nate Kubia.
