Donald Morrison was born October 12, 1938 in Tennessee. He went to heaven December 9, 2020. He was the 4th of 10 kids. Don was raised in Kentucky until 1971 when he moved his family south to the great state of Georgia. He has 7 children: Denise Depuy (Duane), Terry Morrison (Alice), Jody Morrison (Betty), Kelly Crews (Darwin), Bruce Morrison, Derron Morrison (Dawn) and Chad Morrison; his brothers and sisters: Thelma, Judy, Johnny, and Linda. He had 14 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Darlene Chambers (Paul), a very special niece for their devoted kindness to Don.
He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was known as Papa Don to his grandchildren. He also loved watching the Atlanta Braves and eating snacks. Don had many friends and one nemesis. Chester! His family knows who Chester is. :-). Don claimed to have perpetually bad luck, and this became a joke among his family anytime something unfortunate happened. It was said that "Chester got him again". He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed by all.
