Warner Robins, GA- Earl Joe Harnage, Jr., 62, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his residence. Services celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Reverend Dave Semones will be officiating. Joey was born on January 8, 1957 in Hahira, GA to the late Earl Joe and Evelyn (Hughes) Harnage. He worked in construction for most of his life with various companies and for many years as the construction superintendant for Lee Company. Joey was a very kindhearted person, who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing, drag racing and fast cars. His greatest joy came from his family, who he loved dearly.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Alice Elaine Harnage of Warner Robins, GA; 5 children: Michael Joe Harnage (Candice) of Perry, GA, Stephanie Renee Taylor of Eatonton, GA, Joshua A. Hollingsworth (Barbara) of Warner Robins, GA, Rayford Benjamin Harnage of Byron, GA and Bryan Matthew Harnage of Warner Robins, GA; 5 grandchildren: Ty and Kacy Taylor, Rayley Kate and Waylon Harnage and Calynn Warren; sister: Freda Johnson (Arnold) of Eatonton, GA.
