Obituary for Edith Diann Smith (Baker)
Warner Robins, GA – Edith Diann Smith, 64, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 10, 2022.
Diann was born on November 30, 1957, in Harbor City, California to Herschel Baker and Eunice (Brackner) Baker. She enjoyed Gardening, Arts and Crafts, and watching Alabama football. She was also extremely hardworking as she worked many jobs including construction with her husband and waitressing.
Diann is preceded in death by her daughter Sara Proffer and her father Herschel Baker.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ronald Smith of Tellico Plains, TN; daughter: Roxann Barnes (Russell) of Andalusia, AL; Mother: Eunice Baker of Warner Robins, GA; granddaughters: Alexa Holmes (Cody) of Andalusia, AL and Kelly Watson of Andalusia, AL; grandson: Brantley Burleson of Alabama; sisters: Mona Grubbs of Tellico Plains, TN, Pamela Dapron of Susanville, CA, Amanda Shanahan (Brian) of Tellico Plains, TN, and Delilia Werner (Ralf) of Warner Robins, GA; brothers: Hershel Baker (Wendy) of Dothan, AL and Billy Baker of Ozark, Al.
