Perry, GA – Eleanor Louise (Weaver) Hatton, 100, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2023, at her residence. Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Southside Baptist Church Kathleen with Reverend Randall Nash be officiating the services.
Eleanor was born on July 19, 1922, in Macon, GA to the late Howard Augustus Weaver and the late Ida Rebecca (McCoy) Weaver. She was a very loving, and hard-working wife, mother, and grandmother. Eleanor enjoyed reading and cooking in her spare time. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Southside Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the fellowship and worship. Eleanor loved her family and dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Hatton; her children: Sandra Smith, Frank Gordon, and Diane Stripling.
Left to cherish her memory is her son-in-law: Marvin Stripling of Macon, GA; daughter-in-law: Merry Gordon of Hawkinsville, GA; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
