Obituary for Elizabeth "Betsy" Bazemore (Archer)
Warner Robins, GA. – Elizabeth Archer Bazemore, 93, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. A funeral service will be held Tuesday January 17, 2023, at 2:00pm, visitation will be held one hour before.
Elizabeth was born on December 11,1929, in Tampa, FL to the late Wilbur and Eunice (Robinson) Archer. She served as the financial secretary for 17 years at Shirley Hills Baptist Church. She was an advocate for recycling and had a servant's heart. She loved singing in the church choir. Betsy would spend her spare time doing puzzles and spending time with the Keenagers senior adults.
In addition to her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Anderson Bazemore; son Richard “Rick” H. Bazemore; Brother Robert “Bob” Archer.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert “Bob" W. Bazemore (Pam) of Warner Robins, GA.; daughter: Karen Bazemore Hill of Florence, AL; daughter-in-law Robin Bazemore (Rick); grandchildren: Thomas A. Bazemore (Kamerin), Christie Bazemore (Chad Pelton), Kelli Cole Staudt, and Janna Cole Koppert (Jack); great-grandchildren: Charlie A. Bazemore, Ty William Bazemore and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Smile Train Organization, St. Jude’s or to Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
