Macon, GA – Eric Allison Carson, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday. August 13, 2020 at his residence. The visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery in Macon. Rev. Chris Minton will be officiating.
Eric was born on June 14, 1959 in Macon, GA to Allison Ledford Carson and Edna Anne (Stokes) Carson. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Eric was a former employee for Sunbelt Properties. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, bowling, and reading. Eric loved people and received great joy in helping others, but his greatest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Nicole Wallace (Zach) and Christopher Carson; grandchildren: Ashton, Olivia and Bryson; brothers: Victor E. Carson (Sheryl) and Michael Carson; sister: Elizabeth “Beth” Carson and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
