Bonaire, GA - Forrest Eugene Walters, Jr, 63, went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 14, 2020 at his home with family by his side after fighting a long, courageous battle against cancer.
Forrest, A.K.A. “Jr” was born December 23, 1956 in Lodi, Ohio to the late Forrest and Evelyn (Raker) Walters. Jr loved being a truck driver, which he was very passionate, until his retirement after many years of driving. When not on the road, Jr loved working in his woodshop. He could take an old piece of wood and create a masterpiece.
Jr is survived by his children: Amanda (James) Reed, Tabitha Bailey, Franklin (Gladys) Walters, Natasha Allen; sisters: Mary (Mitch) Malcomb, Josie (Keith) Huggins, Juanita and Marjorie Walters. Several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and long-time girlfriend, Debbie. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him
Returning home to be with the Lord he was met by his parents, brothers: Lewis, Robert, Gerald, and Danny; sisters: Katherine, Darlene, Bonnie, Suzanne, and a set of twins.
There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of life will be held on a later date.
