Obituary for Francis Peter Fiore

Perry, GA – Francis Peter Fiore, 84, passed away on Friday, April 30,2021.
Francis (Frank) was born on October 3, 1936 in Kingston, New York to the late Francis Joseph and Gertrude Smedes Fiore. He was a proud Union Boilermaker and served the United States in the National Guard Army Reserve. He loved sports, was an avid golfer, loved dance and music and was an accomplished trumpet player and as a young man was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. He loved to spend time with his family and was a proud, enthusiastic, vocal supporter of his children and grandkids never missing any of their sporting events or whatever activities they were involved in.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 65 years, Sharon Gormley Fiore, great-granddaughter, Isabelle Fiore and brother Robert Fiore.
Left to cherish his memory are his adoring children: Kathy Hayman (Michael) of Perry, GA, Pete Fiore (Terry) of Warner Robins, GA, and Jerry Fiore (Patricia) of Poughkeepsie, NY; grandchildren: Jay Fiore (Debra), Kaela Dees, Cara Fiore, Alyson Hayman, Shannon Fiore, Ian Fiore, and Eileen Fiore; great-grandchildren: Kylie Dees, Kaytlyn Dees, Jacob Dunlap and brother Joseph (Bruce) Fiore as well as several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held to celebrate the lives of Francis and Sharon (Gormley) Fiore on Saturday, June 19, 2021 11:00 am, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Kingston, New York, followed by a burial service at the Hurley Cemetery.
