Byron, GA – Francisca (Animos) Stringer, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at her residence. The visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. The services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Father Fred will be officiating the services.
Francisca was born on December 3, 1932, in Leyte, Philippines to the late Florinto and Maria (Mones) Animos. She was hardworking and always put others before herself. For years she worked civil service at the bowling alley on Robins Air Force Base. She loved being outdoors and some of her hobbies were gardening, bird watching, camping, and fishing. She enjoyed Bingo, cooking, and helping others.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 57 years, Daniel Stringer; children: Generato Espina (Rosemarie) of Manila, Philippines, Rose (Stringer) Kenney and Ephram Frederick Animos Stringer, II (Tracy); grandchildren: Jesse Kenney, Zachary Kenney, Daniel Stringer, Ephram Stringer, III, Timothy Tincher, Jaquelyn (Tincher) Thomas, Anthony Tincher; and 21 great grandchildren.
