Obituary for Frankie Walston (White)

Perry, GA – Frankie (White) Walston, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Atrium Health Navicent Peach in Byron, GA. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church at 4:00 pm. The visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the services. Reverend Kelly Pope and Reverend Charlie Walker will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Harvest Christian Fellowship,checks payable to COGOP, 1211 S. Houston Lake Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to First Love Ministries, 623 Pine Ridge St., Perry, GA 31069.
Frankie was born on July 5, 1946, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Carl Johnnie White, Sr. and Americus Fontella (Broxton) White. She was a faithful and active member of Harvest Christian Fellowship and First Love Ministries. She was a First Love Lady and a member of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, Frankie enjoyed reading, cooking, and baking cakes. Her passion in life was serving others and her grandchildren. Frankie had a motto “love people and feed them good food”. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Alton Blaker Walston.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Bryan Walston (Laurie) of Perry, GA; daughter: Susan Thompson of Perry, GA; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother: Carl Johnnie White, Jr. (Teresa) of Jacksonville, FL.
