Bonaire, GA - Galen Robert Rush, 22, passed away on Saturday, January 01, 2022 at his home. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, January 09, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following the service at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022 at Burpee Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Galen was born on April 10, 1999, in Montgomery, AL to Vanessa Rush Walker. He grew up in Enterprise, Alabama but moved to Warner Robins, Georgia his sophomore year of high school. He graduated from Northside High School in 2017. While attending he was a member of the Northside football and wrestling teams. He was employed with Walmart. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending his time playing video games, trying new places to eat, and watching the Auburn Tigers (War Eagle) football team. Galen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother Vanessa Rush-Walker and step- father Benjamin Walker of Perry, GA, sisters: Sydnee Rush and Shirleya Walker; grandmother Evelyn Engram, grandfather, Robert Perry, Sr.(Sybil), uncles Edward Engram (Shandrea) and Robert Perry, Jr.(Sigourne), and his “Teta” Rosetta Williams(Mike).
