Obituary for Geraldine Virginia "Geri" Taylor
Warner Robins, GA – Geraldine “Geri” Virginia (Deptola) Taylor, 84, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, with her family at her bedside. Services celebrating her life will be private.
Geri was born on September 20, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan to the late William Edward Deptola and the late Anna (Vencek) Deptola. As a young child, her parents moved to Rome, NY where she lived almost half her life. She spent 24 years working civil service at Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome, NY before retiring from Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia after many years of service. In her spare time, Geri enjoyed remodeling and creating projects around her home. She loved animals, but her greatest joy came from her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Craig Taylor (Andrea) of Warner Robins, GA; daughter: Wendy Tacker (Michael) of Suwanee, GA; four grandchildren: Jake Taylor, Rachel Baxter (Dylan), Alena Pope (Sam), and Jenny Tacker.
