Obituary for Geraldine Wilson (Belflower)

Warner Robins, GA – Geraldine (Belflower) Wilson, devoted and loving mother, Nana, and sister, who loved her family and Lord, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Houston Medical Center. Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with visitation being held one hour prior to the services. Burial will take place on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Rusty Smith will be officiating.
Geraldine was born in Fort Valley to the late S.T. and Emma Bess (Bowden) Belflower. She was a graduate of Peach County High School. Geraldine retired from Southern Bell, where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was an active member of Mikado Baptist Church. She participated and served with the GYP Senior Program, her women’s Sunday school class and the monthly senior luncheon’s at Mikado Baptist Church. Geraldine enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She was affectionately known as Nana by her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Thomas Earl Wilson; granddaughter: Danielle Dotson; sister: Jeanette Holloway; brother: Austin Belflower; brother-in-law: Steve Yaughn; sister-in-law: Phyllis Belflower. Geraldine was so loved and will be missed by many.
Left to cherish her sweet memory is her daughter, Sheryl Wilson Dotson (Scott) of Warner Robins; son: Tommy Wilson (Dianna) of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren: Tamera Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Megan Maine, Jordan Dotson, Jared Dotson, Abram Dotson, Makenzie Dotson, Mikayla Dotson, and Leia Dotson; sister: Priscilla Yaughn of Fort Valley; brother: Elis Belflower of Fort Valley; sister-in-law: Iris Belflower of Macon.
