Macon, GA – Harry R. Davidson, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2022, in Kathleen, GA. Graveside services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon, GA. Harry was born on June 3, 1941, in Macon, GA to the late William and Nellie Mae (Ward) Davidson. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Harry retired from the United States Postal Service, where he was a mail carrier. He was a faithful and devoted member of United Community Church. Harry was known as a generous and giving man, had a heart for people, especially his family, and loved cats. In his spare time, he enjoyed shopping for bargains, and raising his cats. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Comer) Davidson; sisters: Linda Sheffield and Betty June Evans; stepson: Earl Mercer.
Left to cherish his memory is his brothers, William, and Richard Davidson; daughter: Audrey Nichols; grandchildren: Chuck (Tamra), Jeff (Stephanie), Michael (Susie), Patrick, and Marie (Joel); Eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
