Obituary for Harvey Jackson Simmons
Warner Robins – Harvey “Jack” Jackson Simmons, born June 6, 1936, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022. A graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday September 13,2022 at 1:00pm.
Jack was born in Hazlehurst, GA, to the late Otis Marion Simmons and Harvie Mae (Minton) Simmons. Jack proudly served in the Army and retired as a Sargent in the 11th Airborne division. After the Army, Jack was self-employed as a construction contractor. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery competitions.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother Billy Simmons (Karen) of Byron, GA; Grandchildren Crystal Coffman (Troy), Shawn Simmons and many nieces and nephews.
Jack is predeceased in death by his son David Keith Simmons; brothers: Bobby Simmons, Michael Simmons, Jimmy Simmons, and sister Mary Wautine Raffield.
