Obituary for Ivy Addison Statzer
Warner Robins, GA – Ivy Addison Statzer, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in her home peacefully surrounded by her Mommy and Daddy. Services celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Pastor Matt Walls will be officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services. Graveside will be private for family only. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital NICU, 888 Pine St., Macon, GA 31201.
Ivy was born on October 13, 2022, in Houston County, Georgia to Justin Tyler Statzer and Jordan (Scott) Statzer. She was truly a miracle. In her 5 months, Ivy defied every odd proving the true miracles God performs. She was the most beautiful baby girl who changed many lives just by being here. Ivy loved her mommy and daddy more than anything in this world. She showed tremendous amounts of strength throughout her journey which only strengthened her parents. Ivy never went a day without feeling love from everyone around her, and she was truly a light to this world. Although Ivy isn’t here with us, She is being rocked in Heaven watching her parents make her proud. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ivy was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Don (Mildred) Statzer, Ken (Sylvia) Crockett, and Downs Scott.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving Mommy and Daddy, Tyler and Jordan Statzer of Warner Robins, GA; grandparents: Keith (Michelle) Statzer of Kathleen, GA and Jody (Angela) Scott of Kathleen, GA; aunts & uncles: Shaun (Emma) Statzer of Prosperity, South Carolina and Jacob (Anabelle) Pierce of Warner Robins, GA; cousins: Kason Statzer and Lenley Pierce; great-grandparents: Edward (Rhoda) Morton of Perry, GA and Madelyn Scott of Reynolds, GA; her fur-siblings: Kodak, Callie, and Smokey; along with numerous extended family.
