Obituary for Jane Ann Browne (Carl)

On August 23rd, 2022, Jane Ann (Carl) Browne passed away at 9:20 p.m. at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry Georgia. After many years of failing health she is finally at peace in the loving arms of God and the beloved family members who have passed before her. Jane was born on June 26th, 1947 in Springfield Ohio. The daughter of the late Norman and Lyndall (Barclay) Carl. She attended Reid School and graduated from Shawnee High school in 1965. Throughout her life she loved and cherished keeping the many friendships she had in high school. Jane married Robert W. Browne on May 15, 1966. Together they shared a life full of love, laughter, and joy. She enjoyed nothing more than to sit on her back patio with her husband watching birds and looking at the beautiful flowers at the home they created in Georgia.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Browne, her two daughters Melissa (Rob) Ireton and Gretchen (Tom) Cevicelov as well as her beloved grandchildren Colette and Jackson Ireton, and Sarah and Grace Cevicelov. There was nothing that she cherished more than family and friends. Jane truly was the nicest person and never met a stranger. Her proudest achievement was being a mother to her two daughters and grandmother to her four grandchildren, whom she adored! She always said that her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Instead of a service, Jane requested that friends and family share memories and pictures to a wall that has been provided by Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. She did not want friends and family to mourn, instead she wanted a celebration of life. She requested that she be remembered through videos, pictures, and memories.

The beautiful person she was and her loving heart will be remembered and missed by her family and friends.
