Molino, FL- Janice Faye Herrington Sheffield, 65, passed away after an extended illness at her sister’s home in Warner Robins, GA. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 3:00 pm in Highland Baptist Church, 6240 County Hwy. 95A, Molino, FL 32577 with interment immediately following in the church cemetery next to her beloved husband Harry Thomas Sheffield. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services in the Highland Baptist Church sanctuary.
Janice was born on July 8, 1952 in Perry, GA to the late Johnny Van & Louise Rebecca Hobbs Herrington. She was a homemaker for most of her life, where she took pride in caring for her family. Her world revolved around her kids, from volunteering as the class mom, team mom or with the church youth groups. She was known by all of the children that she helped mentor and raise as “Mama J”. She was an active member of the Highland Baptist Church in Molino, FL.
Left to cherish her memory is her children: Christopher Johnson (Adrienne) of Mobile, AL, Thomas Sheffield of Molino, FL and Lindsay Sheffield-Bauldree (Jeffrey) of Jay, FL; 5 grandchildren: Grayden, McKinley, Aiden, Mason and Emma; brother: Van Herrington (Sarah) of Warner Robins, GA; sisters: Joyce Hart of Molino, FL and Judy Persuhn of Warner Robins, GA
