Perry, GA – Jimmy Winfred Patterson, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Houston Medical Center. Services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 am at Grace Church in Perry, GA with Reverend Don Caulley officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace Church, 1736 Houston Lake Rd., Perry, GA 31069.
Jimmy was born on September 23, 1950 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Haverin Cecil and Dolly Mae (Lowery) Patterson. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, where he retired at the rank of Master Sergeant. After his military career, Jimmy worked at McDonnell -Douglas, Boeing and was a truck driver for a few years. When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, watching Nascar and spending time with his men’s group at church. Jimmy was a faithful and dedicated member of Grace Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Rosalie Patterson of Perry; son: Matthew Patterson of New Hampshire; daughter: Sarah Elizabeth Patterson (Trevor Linn) of Perry; 5 grandchildren; sisters: Shirley, Martha, Dorothy, Beverly and Karen; brothers: Jerry, Kenny and Joel.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
