Obituary for John Gordon "Johnny" Cross
Warner Robins, GA -John “Johnny” Gordon Cross, 62, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, February 7, 2022, due to extended illness. He will rest next to his beloved late wife, Maria Hardman Cross.
Johnny was born and raised in Perry, GA. He spent his life in the middle GA area. He often traveled the southeastern US as a pipefitter, where on the job he, was known as “Ratchet”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gail Key Cross “Granny” and Ray Dean Cross, and his loving wife, Maria Hardman Cross. Left to cherish the memories they made with Johnny is his daughter, Jennifer Hardman; brothers, Neil Cross (Crystal) and Hugh Cross (Tammy); and nieces Sarah, Rebekah (Jeff), and Anna.
Johnny’s family would like to thank Atrium Health Navicent 9th floor staff for their compassion, kindness, and thoughtfulness during a difficult time.
Burpee Scott Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Visitation will be held at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 12, at 1:00 pm. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm.
