Obituary for John Alan "John Boy" D'Avino

Macon, GA – John Alan “John Boy” D’Avino, 53, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Macon Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory at 3:00 pm with visitation following until 4:30 pm. Reverend Lee Griffin will be officiating.
John was born on January 28, 1967 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Anthony D’Avino and Susan (Densmore) Dean. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins. John was a volunteer for many years at the Museum of Aviation. He enjoyed gaming, assembling model cars, planes and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. John never met a stranger. He absolutely loved people and genuinely cared for others, especially his nieces who he adored. John will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Annette Smalling (Todd); brother and best friend: Mike D’Avino (Lorene); brother: Anthony D’Avino (Tiffany); sisters: Brooke Lewis and Chantel Dowell (Jacob); brother: Vincent D’Avino; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
