Obituary for Johnny Grahl Smith Jr.

Fort Valley, GA – Johnny G. Smith, 71, passed peacefully in the arms of his wife at his residence in Fort Valley, GA and entered the gates of heaven on November 6, 2021, at 12:39 am. The services celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm Harvest Church with Pastor Jim Cowart officiating the services. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services. Johnny was a kind and gentle person who loved God, his family & friends, his country, horses, motorcycles, his dog Annie, and his Georgia Bulldogs!! He raised and showed American Paint Horses for over thirty years.
In his lifetime he worked as an electrician, fireman, and an insurance salesman. He loved serving at his church, Harvest United Methodist Church, and greeting everyone with a smile and a handshake as he never met a stranger.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 44 wonderful years, Dianah Smith; father: Chuck Taylor (Joyce); sister: Kris Moore (Jerry); brother: Mike Taylor (Liz); niece: Jessamy Jacques (Justin); nephew: Jay Moore; great-niece: Taylor Jacques; great-nephew: John Jacques; many other family and friends.
