Juan Villa Chumacero, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Houston Medical Center. Services celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel and Crematory. The visitation for family and friends will be held at 4:00 pm. Mayor Randy Toms will officiate the services.
Juan was born July 21, 1937 in Potosi, Bolivia to the late Felix and Ascencia (Villa) Chumacero. He moved to Warner Robins, GA in 1977 where he established his business Custom Cuts & Styles for over 31 years.
Juan was well known and loved by the community during his career as a barber. However, he will be most remembered as a devoted husband of 63 years to his wife, as a loving father to his four daughters, and a adoring grandfather to his eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Tina Chumacero; children: Edith Shelton, Maritza Harper, Luzmila Green (Robert), Zulema Toms (Keith); grandchildren: Derek, Kimberly (Matt), Mandy (Evan), Craig (Farah), Joshua (Sarah), Taylor (Dalton), Lindsey, Eric, Jordan, Ryan, Dillon, and 9 great-grandchildren.
