Dear Family of Carmer,
I have just learned of Carmer's passing. My heart is so sad. I worked with him beginning in the early 1970 's when I was at Wrangler Jeans, and until I left the industry in 1987. He was a wonderful mentor to me. Always smiling, always positive - always helping. Your father, grandfather, etc. was a wonderful man, and I know he is missed terribly. He certainly enjoyed a wonderful reputation in the textile/garment industry.

I loved Carmer from the first time he came and sat by me at Perry Players. Such a delightful man! Always enjoyed seeing him around town, especially at the Coffee Cup. Always fun to talk with and hear about his career. So very sorry to hear of his passing. I will miss him!
