WARNER ROBINS, GA- Larry L. Stern, 79, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia. A funeral service for Mr. Stern will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with Reverend Grady Walden officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Mr. Stern will be laid to rest immediately following the services at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Larry L. Stern was born on January 24, 1941 in the Conemaugh Township, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Mary (Speicher) Stern. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and Air Force until his retirement from both manpower management and engineering. He later spent the rest of his working career continuing to serve his country in the civil service as a management analyst. Mr. Stern was an active and faithful member of Clarksville Baptist Church for over twenty years, where he served as a deacon and held various other positions in the church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Ann Hancharik.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Barbara Stern; daughter, Lisa (Brian) Mannasmith; grandson, Tyler Wise; brother, Charles David Stern and numerous extended family.
