Obituary for Levi Charles Montgomery

Fort Valley, GA – Levi Charles Montgomery (Windle) was born April 3, 2015, at Southeast Georgia Hospital at 3:20 am. Since the very moment he arrived, Levi started his fight for his journey! He was born a very special child who had a continuous smile that he shared with everyone! Even at such a young age of only seven, Levi was not only the strongest fighter but the biggest warrior too! Levi was able to gracefully, and thankfully, save and change the lives of a few special people closest to him, and touched the lives of all the others he encountered along the way. Levi had a way through just a simple smile to reassure you that things will be okay. He was such a blessing to many, that had such a lasting, unforgettable impact on all who encountered him.
On September 24, 2022, Levi was surrounded by many loved ones at his bedside as he received his precious wings into Heaven at 11:53 am from Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital.
Levi leaves behind to rejoice in his memory, his mother Brittany M. Windle; his adored grandparents, Michael Windle (Kimberly) and Deborah Stanley; his many siblings , such as his big brother, best friend, and hero, Brayden Windle; his one of a kind, protective sister, Taylor “Ruby” Lindsey; his sweet and dearest aunt, Jessie Williams; uncles: Donald Roberts (Kate) and his all-time favorite, facetiming buddy, Terrance Windle “uncle T.T.”; his special god-mom, Lillian Cross; great uncle: Paul Stanley; many more extended family.
Levi Charles Montgomery was one of a kind in the very best of ways and his absence will leave an emptiness in our hearts.
A memorial gathering celebrating his life will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
