Obituary for Lilian Catherine "Cathy" Bartlett (Stevens)
Byron, GA – Lilian “Cathy” Catherine (Stevens) Bartlett, 76, a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Piedmont Medical Center. Services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 4:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on November 3, 2022 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Interment will follow the service at Haynesville Church of God Cemetery.
Cathy was born on October 6, 1946, in Huffman, AR to the late Charlie Clifton Stevens and Penetha (Lott) Stevens. She was a faithful member of Haynesville Church of God and was the Ladies ministry President. Cathy enjoyed shopping for antiques, collectibles, and teaching Sunday School on Sunday Mornings. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Along with her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her son David Wesley Bartlett and her sisters, Sharon Arnold, and Patricia Renfro.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 60 years, Charles Lester Bartlett of Byron, GA; son: Gary Allen Bartlett of Waynesville, NC; daughter-in-law: Pamela Bartlett; grandsons: Jeffrey Alexander Bartlett and Ryan Austin Bartlett; sisters: Jeanette McClanahan and Shirley Stevens; brother: Grady Stevens; and multiple nieces and nephews.
