Obituary

Obituary for Lillian Faye Smith (Treadwell)

Byron, GA – Lillian Faye (Treadwell) Smith, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at her residence. Services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm with interment following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior and immediately following the services. Reverend Eugene Barlow will be officiating the services.
Lillian was born on September 25, 1929 in Pharaoh, OK to the late Harmon and Bernice (Fryer) Treadwell. She was a homemaker and always made sure that her family’s needs were met. Lillian was an excellent cook and expected her family to be home on Sunday’s for a family meal and fellowship. Her family was most important in her life. She enjoyed crocheting, especially blankets for each family member and working crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith and her sons, DeWayne Kirk and Chuck Smith.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Widella Smith of Byron, GA; sons: John Smith of Quartzite, AZ and Carl Kirk of Byron, GA; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother: Dale Treadwell of Chauncey, GA.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
