Obituary for Lina Sue Axtell (Thompson)
Warner Robins, GA. – Lina Sue Axtell, born March 4, 1949, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with Gary Morton officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services.
Sue was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Tommy and Louise (Line) Thompson. Sue was a receptionist for Behavior Health for many years. If she wasn’t home sewing blankets and making jelly, you could find her RVing to the beach where she loved walking on the beach collecting seashells and sand dollars.
Left to cherish her memory is her adoring husband of 52 years Larry Axtell; children Amy Weber (Doug) Greenville, NC, Kim Grizzle (Brian), Jennifer Slappey (Stuart); grandchildren Kyle, Mikayla, Christopher, Brynn, Sydney, Anthony, Will, Olivia, Bradley, and Susanna.
