Obituary for Loretta Lewis (Sloan)
Perry, GA- Loretta (Sloan) Lewis, 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Perry Hospital in Perry, GA. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
Loretta was born on November 30, 1942 in Macon, GA to the late Wade Sloan and Chloe Haywood. Loretta spent her life raising her family with her beloved husband, Charles Lewis. She was a member of the Southern Belles and the Lunch Bunch of Houston Springs in Perry. She loved spending her time playing cards and meeting new people. She never met a stranger, and nothing compared to her time spent with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her brothers, Glen and Tony Sloan and sister, Betty Hicks.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Charles Lewis; children, Chuck (Holly) Lewis, Lynn (Andy) Moss, Cindy (David) Middlebrooks, and Chad (Lora) Lewis; grandchildren, Alana, Heather, Noah, Melissa and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Taylor, Makayla, Maddison and Audrey; brother, Scott; sisters, Loraanne and Kathy; and sister-in-law, Linda.
